At Ooh CHU handmade, every piece of jewelry is handcrafted by our founder only after your order is placed. Because each item is custom-made to your specific request, we do not accept returns or refunds for personal reasons. Please read the following terms carefully before completing your purchase.
- The Nature of Custom-Made Creations
Unique Craftsmanship: Unlike mass-produced items, your jewelry is created specifically for you. Therefore, it is exempt from standard "7-day no-reason return" policies.
Defining "Defects": Returns are only accepted in cases of major functional defects, such as a broken clasp, a snapped chain upon arrival, or if the wrong style/size was sent.
Non-Defect Criteria:
Nature’s Imprints: Natural inclusions, "ice cracks," clouds, or slight color variations within gemstones are unique characteristics of natural minerals and are not considered flaws.
Artisanal Touches: As each piece is handmade, minor asymmetrical details or subtle tool marks may be present. These are the "signatures" of handcrafted work and add to the item's unique warmth.
Personal Factors: We cannot offer refunds for reasons such as "it doesn't suit me," "slight color differences due to screen settings," or "change of mind."
- Reporting Major Defects
Should you receive a piece with a major functional defect, please follow these steps:
Contact Us: Please reach out via website message or email within 24 hours of receiving your package (based on the delivery timestamp).
Provide Proof: Include your Order Number and a clear unboxing video or photos of the defect.
Resolution: Once verified, we will arrange for a repair or re-craft your item at no additional cost.
- Sizing & Adjustments
Precise Measurement: Since custom orders cannot be resold, please refer to our "Sizing Guide" carefully before ordering.
Resizing Service: If a piece does not fit due to a measurement error on your part, we offer a paid resizing service. Please contact us for a quote and instructions.
- Refund Process (Defects Only)
If a refund is approved (in cases where repair or replacement is not possible), it will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.
Credit Card: The refund will be credited back to your original card (processing times depend on your bank).
Bank Transfer: Please provide your account details for the transfer.
